Your Lavish Living Pod is delivered fully assembled and ready to position. We arrange delivery, including HIAB crane offloading, so installation is quick, straightforward and hassle-free.

All you need is a suitable, level foundation and sufficient access for delivery. Once in place and connected to services, your pod is ready to enjoy.

Designed to maximise space while remaining easy to transport and install, our standard pod offers a spacious, fully self-contained layout without compromising on style or comfort.

Do I need planning permission?

In many cases, garden pods can be installed under permitted development and may not require planning permission, especially if the pod is used as a home office, studio, or guest room. However, this depends on your property and local council regulations. We recommend checking with your local council to be sure.

What is included in the pod?

Our standard pod includes:

Fully fitted bathroom (toilet, basin, shower)
Kitchen unit with sink and cabinets
Bed base
Interior lighting
Electrical wiring
Internal plumbing
Insulated walls, floor, and ceiling

The pod arrives fully finished inside and ready to be connected to services.

How does delivery work?

The pod is delivered fully assembled and placed into position using a HIAB truck (a truck with a crane). This usually takes place in one day.

If access is restricted, a mobile crane may be required. This is quoted separately if needed.

What do I need to prepare before delivery?

You will need a level foundation for the pod to sit on, such as:

Concrete slab
Compacted ground
Steel beam foundation

Electrical, water, and waste connections can be completed after the pod has been delivered and placed in position by local qualified professionals.

How long does the whole process take?

Each pod is made to order.

Estimated timeline:

Manufacturing: 30–45 working days
Shipping & customs: Approximately 4–6 weeks
Delivery to your site: Scheduled after arrival in the UK

Total estimated time: Approximately 8–12 weeks from order to delivery.

How does payment work?

Payment is made in two stages:

60% deposit to start manufacturing
40% balance before delivery

Do you offer a warranty?

Every Lavish Living Pod is backed by our 12-month Lavish Living Warranty, giving you added confidence in your investment. Our pods are built using premium materials and quality craftsmanship, and should you experience any manufacturing defects during the warranty period, our team will work with you to resolve them promptly.

For complete peace of mind, a full warranty document outlining the terms and coverage will be provided with your purchase.

What is Lavish Living Co. responsible for?

Lavish Living Co. acts as the supplier and importer of the pod.

We arrange import, delivery to your property, and placement of the pod in position.

What is the customer responsible for?

The customer is responsible for:

Site preparation and foundations
Electrical connection to mains power
Plumbing and water connection
Waste/drainage connection
Planning permission (if required)
Any future maintenance or repairs

We recommend using qualified local professionals for all groundwork and connections.

What happens after the pod is delivered?

Once the pod has been delivered and placed in position, the unit becomes the responsibility of the owner. Any future maintenance, servicing, or repairs are the responsibility of the owner.
